In a segment called ‘I found my long-lost father and I hope DNA proves he’s not my dad’, the 27-year-old singer was accused by her long lost father to have stolen his mobile phone.
The mum-of-three failed the lie detector on the popular ITV show.
Speaking to the Sun, Kayleigh explained: “I don’t pretend to be perfect. I’m human.
“I’ve made a number of mistakes in the past and I’m trying to better my life.”
Kayleigh wowed viewers on Saturday night with her pitch-perfect rendition of Evanescence’s My Immortal.
Her song got those watching in the waiting room give her a standing ovation, a round of applause from the judges and the all-important four yeses.
Head judge Simon Cowell told the hopeful: “I’ve got be honest with you, before you started singing, I thought, ‘This is gonna be a nightmare.’
“But actually, you probably have the best voice we’ve heard today.”
But it wasn’t just Kayleigh’s voice that got people talking, with her sassy personality bringing the lol’s amongst viewers.
She sent shockwaves rippling round the audition room when she exposed her Simon Cowell tattoo in a very delicate area.
Exposing her derierre to the judges, Kayleigh explained: “I was in Magaluf because it was only 10 vodkas for a euro, and I thought let’s get it done.
“Should have got a spray tan, shouldn’t I?”
“Yeah,” replied a wincing Simon.
