The first episode certainly won’t disappoint, as we see a Simon Cowell super-fan belt out a classic Emo anthem, a Sinitta look-alike strip to her bejewelled undies and a boyband Nicole Scherzinger describes as “gorgina” – a mixture of “gorgeous” and, well, “vagina”.
But who are the most show-stopping auditonees? Daily Star Online have handpicked the best of the bunch.
1. Kayleigh Taylor
The Liverpool lass catches the panel’s eye with her non-stop chatter and electrifying personality, cheekily telling judge Simon Cowell that they’ve already met “in his dreams” and exposing a rather saucy tattoo of his name in an unmentionable area.
“It was ten vodkas for a Euro in Magaluf and I got a Simon Cowell tattoo,” the mum-of-three told a bewildered panel.
Singing Evanescence’s My Immortal, will Kayleigh be treating herself to a few more celebration shots after her audition?
2. Elisangela Mahogany
The 34-year-old personal trainer turned Simon’s head with her good looks not unlike ex-girlfriend Sinitta’s.
Sashaying into the audition room in a black trench coat, Nicole told the hopeful to “work, honey”.
And boy did she work, stripping off to a bra and mini-skirt as she sang a sexy version of Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You.
Her amazingly-toned body was marvelled by the judges, particularly Simon, who asked if the Brazilian beauty had a “second, third, fourth song” in her repertoire.
But will her stunning figure match her vocals?
Watford-based boyband Rak-Su failed to impress the judges with their rendition of Justin Timberlake’s Señorita, but the panel, which includes long-serving judge Louis Walsh and music manager Sharon Osbourne, give them another chance by letting them sing original track Feeling You.
The foursome, who are made up of good-looking lads Jamaal, Myles, Ashley and Mustafa get the crowd singing along with them, with Nicole describing the group as
But will their original track translate into those all-important four yeses?
4. Grace Taylor
Blackburn-born Grace made the judges cry when she sang original song Roots, which she wrote after people told her she’d never be anything more than a pub singer.
The song, which Grace had never sang in front of anyone before, was dubbed a “hit” by Louis and a “beautiful, beautiful” song by Simon.
Have the X Factor judges found their winner in the 20-year-old warehouse worker already?
The X Factor starts tonight at 8pm on ITV.
