Strictly Come Dancing star announces shock pregnancy: ‘Hurry up bump’

A STRICTLY Come Dancing star has announced they have a baby on the way.


JLS star Aston Merrygold, who will appear on the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing, announced his happy news on Sunday afternoon.

Aston took to Instagram for the big reveal.

He posted two naps of himself and girlfriend Sarah Louis Richards holding hands over a chair that said ‘reserved’ alongside a snap of the baby scan.

Both blue and pink balloons were seen in the background as the snaps read: “Could it be pink… Could it be blue.”

Aston captioned the post: “On May 29th 2017 we found out that our lives were going to change forever!

“This secret has been so hard to keep, but I’m so excited to finally be able to share the news with everybody that me and my beautiful lady @sarahlourichards are going to be parents!”

The star continued: “I’m never speechless but words can’t describe how I feel. All I know is there’s no feeling like it!

This year’s series will see Aston compete against the likes of This Morning’s Ruth Langsford and Emmerdale’s Gemma Atkinson.

Strictly will start on Saturday 9th September on BBC1 at 7pm.
