One Direction with an indie twist! Meet rising stars :PM

ONE Direction may have come and gone, but don’t be too sad as we’ve found you their perfect replacement.

BIG PLANS: :PM are set to be the next big boyband

Imagine if you mixed the 1D lads and The Kooks, what have you got? Enter :PM.

The band consists of singer Dan Reynard, 21, drummer Alex Boulton, 21, bassist Joe Morley, 22, and guitarist duo Josh Stockdale and Harry Yates, both aged 20.

Formed by Harry and Josh during their school days, the lads quickly picked up Dan after hearing him sing in a school assembly.

WORKING HARD: The boys are hoping 2017 is their year

Soon after Alex joined the band.

The boys then won the Harrogate AMP Music Awards, before jetting out to Los Angeles to record in Johnny Depp’s studio.

Completing the line-up, Joe then joined three years ago.

Now the lads have been booked to support X Factor star Emily Middlemas on her UK tour.

Their debut single Grown Ups is already racing up the streaming charts.

To help widen their reach :PM have filmed a special acoustic version of the song.

OUT NOW: :PM’s debut single Grown Ups has just been released

Chatting to Daily Star Online, the lads said: “We loved stripping down Grown Ups.

“Getting back to the organic song and rearranging it for this acoustic performance.

“We got to film in this great old pub near our drummer Alex’s house – we hope everyone has as much fun listening to it as we did recording it.”
