The Irish pop manager backed Nicole Scherzinger to stay in the job, claiming she is a better judge and more credible artist.
Louis exclusively revealed how he, Simon, 57, and Sharon Osbourne, 64, had already signed up to return to the panel next year.
Former Pussycat Doll Nicole, 39, is the only judge not to commit to a third consecutive series.
“Both Sharon and I have already signed for next year”
Sources claim former X Factor sweetheart Cheryl, 34, is in line for a sensational comeback after giving birth to her son, Bear, in March.
But Louis, 65, reckons Nicole is everyone’s top choice, including boss Simon.
Louis said: “Both Sharon and I have already signed for next year.
“Everyone wants Nicole back too. This is the best line up. No-one can touch Nic, she’s a workhorse.
“She puts more hours in than anyone. She’s won twice already. She can do everything.
“She can sing, dance, act, do musical theatre. “She is the full package. She has the X Factor.
“If I was on the show, I would want her as my mentor.”
Asked who Simon would prefer on the panel, Louis added: “Nicole.” But despite their long running feud, Louis claims he would be happy to work with Cheryl again.
He said: “I wouldn’t mind Cheryl back.
“I’m glad she’s happy. I think this baby has probably changed her.”
Louis also told how he had been in constant contact with ex-judge Mel B throughout the breakdown of her marriage to film producer Stephen Belafonte.
Louis said: “We speak all the time on the phone. “Mel’s a survivor, she’ll do amazing.
“She’s a total survivor. I love her. She can do no wrong with me.
“I love the fact she’s not perfect – what you see is what you get.”
Louis was also complimentary about Cheryl’s Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding, 35.
Talking about the new Celebrity Big Brother winner, Louis added: “I’m so glad she won.
“She was so crazy but that’s her. Otherwise, it was a boring show.
“I still like her and thought she was brave to do it and show herself warts and all.
“If I was still her manager I would have said to do it if she got a big fee.
“It was a risk but she won. If she gets her act together she could revive her solo career.
“Back in the Girls Aloud days she was a bit odd, but I like her. What you see is what you get.”
