Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield meet record breaking model – not all is as it seems
The hosting duo spoke of their excitement to talk to record-breaking Ekaterina Lisina.
And when she walked out it was clear why, as she towered above the This Morning presenters.
Ekaterina holds the titles of World’s Tallest Model, World’s Longest Legs, Biggest Female Feet in Russia and Tallest Woman in Russia.
“When I was born, my father saw me for the first time and said it was only legs”
The model revealed she is six foot nine inches tall and has the UK equivalent of a size 14 foot.
Her legs are 52 inches long, and she revealed: “When I was born, my father saw me for the first time and said it was only legs.”
Ekaterina had a difficult childhood, admitting: “It was a pretty difficult time at school because I was so tall.
“Sometimes I had to call my older brother to communicate with the boys. He’s tall too, but he’s older.”
The 29-year-old is a former professional basketball player who signed her first contract when she was just 15.
In 2008, she helped her team win the bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
And while modelling is her dream, it has its own challenges due to her extreme height.
“It’s almost impossible to find shoes,” she told Holly and Phil. “Even in Moscow – such a big city.”
At one point, Phil dragged out two sets of step ladders so he and Holly could talk to Ekaterina at the same height.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
