Celebs Go Dating fans ‘owe Charlotte Dawson debt of gratitude’ for shock reason
The loveable Agency receptionist returned alongside matchmakers Nadia Essex and Eden Blackman for Celebs Go Dating season three this week.
This time, a brand new set of celebrities – Calum Best, Charlotte Dawson, Bobby Noris, Georgia Toffolo, James Argent, Sarah-Jane Crawford and Frankie Cocozza – enlisted their help to find love.
Joey Essex didn’t return for a third series, despite starring in the first two, though Tom teased the former TOWIE star “might make the tiniest of cameos”.
It seems the star of this series is set to be Ex On The Beach babe Charlotte, who Tom has a lot of love for.
“She’s one of the most charismatic people I’ve ever met”

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, he said: “I think the audience owe her a debt of gratitude because she’s responsible for 90% of the bare flesh – and I think we’re all quietly grateful.”
He continued: “She’s one of the most charismatic people I’ve ever met and she’s got that absolutely from her father.”
Charlotte’s dad is the late comedy legend Les Dawson, who Tom thinks also gave her her sense of humour.
He told us: “I think, with Charlotte, you see all the dottiness first but, actually, she is incredibly witty.
“I think to be that funny you have to be very, very bright too. I just think she’s wonderful. She really tickles me.”
Tom, who is also a singer and is set to play two shows in London and Manchester this month, thinks the Blackpool bombshell could be very successful in her quest for love.
He told us: “I think her heart on her sleeve behaviour is actually because she’s a true romantic.
“She might flounder occasionally, but it’s for all the right reasons because she has a huge burning, romantic soul.
“I think if Nadia and Eden can hone and refine those romantic edges, she could be the most successful, because she’s just brimming with love and romance.”
He also revealed this season’s matches have the scope to last after the show, telling us: “It’s some of the strongest sowing of seeds that we’ve had, so I’m wildly optimistic.
“I am a pit of a panglossian when it comes to this topic anyway, but yes, I think this series will bear some fruit.”
Will Charlotte’s interesting dating techniques – like making matches show their bum – lead to romance?
Celebs Go Dating airs weeknights at 10pm on E4.
Tom will perform in Manchester on September 17 and London on September 22.
