THREE YEARS: Plummer will serve three years in the rough prison
She was jailed for three years on Boxing Day after pleading guilty to smuggling painkillers and has been moved to the notorious Qena prison.
Plummer, 33, from Hull, took 290 Tramadol tablets into Egypt on October 9 for her husband Omar’s bad back.
Her sister, Jayne Synclair, 40, said Laura “wouldn’t survive a day in there – let alone three years”.
She added: “Our biggest fear has been confirmed – she will be sharing a tiny cell with jihadi terrorists.”

“She’s on the verge of a nervous breakdown, covered in scabs.
“She’s been bitten from head to foot in mosquito bites and she’s like a ghost.”
The Brit is reported to have slumped on the floor as she was sentenced – weeping “They’ve got it wrong”.
She is reported to have told her mum she believed she was going to freed before the verdict was read out.
STOPPED: Plummer was stopped by customs as she entered Hurghada
Laura was originally stopped by customs as she flew into the Red Sea resort Hurghada with the tablets in her suitcase.
Her family said they have now lodged an appeal against her sentence.
They have previously slammed Egyptian authorities for keeping in a cell for three days without food.
After her arrest she was kept in a squalid jail and feared she faced the death penalty.
